Siquijor Adventure!!
The Travel
29TH day of August
We all became so robust
Excited we all to travel
To discover and to marvel
We rode on a big ship
To get started with our trip!
Vast ocean we crossed
Blue waters we were so engrossed
Eyes were smiling
Voices were jingling
Flashes of light
ignited from left to right
Selfie here, selfie there
With matching blow of air
A wacky shot, a stolen shot
Every single moment we did shot
A meter away
We became more gay
Finally we stepped the floor
Of the Island of Siquijor!
We then rode a vehicle
To get to the house of my Uncle
Warm welcome we felt
Our hearts wanted to melt
Tired and exhausted
Some slept and rested
We were at the second floor
Where a veranda is at the same floor
John Rey, Jacky, and I
At a store we did buy
A Coca -cola we drunk
And ate a niluyang from a banana trunk
At 4 o'clock
We decided to flock
To Capilay Spring we did go
With our teacher who's always on the go!
We enjoyed diving
But Everon needed a lesson for swimming
Slowly, the night enveloped the sun
Truly it was a day of fun
Next morning came
Some of us faced the flame
We laughed while cooking
Others played while chopping
John Rey cooked the chicken
Stolen shots were taken
Jacky cooked the bam-i
Amazingly it was so yummy
We started our tour
At the count from one to four
Along the road we saw a baka
Ate Jacky said: "Dai lahi ilang baka"
We laughed and screamed
Like the happiness we dreamed
We continued our tour
Around the Island of Siquijor!
Our first stop was at the Balete Tree
The oldest and largest tree in the country
The place was enchanting
Felt like were only dreaming
Then we stopped in front of a church
Dalagkotan we did search
We prayed with faith
Like Angels of faith
We marveled another place
With joy on our face
Cambugahay falls it was
Scary but exciting Oh My Gass!!
I enjoyed jumping off
Which Ate Jacky was afraid of
She breathed deeply
Before jumping daringly
The view was astonishing
The water was so refreshing
The feeling was worthwhile
Enjoying Nature's gifts with a smile
Then we enjoyed the blue waters of Salagdoong
It was the place where we stayed long
The water was so clear and pristine
A great time of swimming but yeah so bitin!
We moved and continued traveling
Some of us were singing, some were sleeping
We passed by many breathtaking views
Which made our day painted in different hues
BIG FOUR
It was indeed a travel of memories
Nostalgic days of stories
Tears, laughter, and happiness
Forever will live in our hearts with love and madness.
