* Choose a poem you like. Take the last line and use that as the first line of your own poem.
And miles to go before I sleep
Having in mind the things to reap
Sleepless nights to surpass
All challenges I know I'll pass
Many hardships I know are coming
They are intended for my becoming
Determination will drive me
All of them will see
Some people laugh at me
Oh dear! I just let them be
For I know in God's plan
I can laugh as much as I can
Many times I know I will fall
In responding to life's call
I want my future to be bright
By having the attitude that is right.
* Electricity is a recent discovery. Think of 12 things to do when there is no power and write about it.
When there is no power, I :
eat and eat.
wander outside the house.
talk with our neighbors.
read some books.
play with my dog.
sleep for 5 hours.
write poems.
clean the house.
re-package my room.
read my diary.
visit the house of my friends.
clean our garden.
Play with my dog
It has been said that dog is man's best friend. Yes. It is so true. Why? Whenever I'm bored, I catch the attention of my dog, Ethan, and play with "him". My dog can give me the happiness and joy that people can't give. Playing with Ethan is like an 8-year old child - worries nothing about the world , EXCEPT Math and Science. And whenever I'm sad and alone in our house, my dog knocks our door and stay with me. He keeps my secrets and pains. He is always there to listen to me. He won't scold me nor say that I am wrong. He just listens. Then, I can feel that he is worried about me if he starts to wiggle his tail. Whenever I'm sitting on the floor, he sits on my lap and rubs his head on my arms. Through these actions, he shows to me that he really loves and cares for me. Indeed, dog is man's best friend!
He - Ethan (my dog)

I met and listened to the speech of Sec. Leila de Lima in Baguio.
Secretary of Justice Leila De Lima has delivered a notable and remarkable speech integrating love and good governance to get the ears of hundreds of leaders united for one goal - transformation. She was really a good speaker and all Young leader who were present could testify to this testimony of mine. There was a total silence which marked that everyone really listened to every word she said. She gave an assumption that tourists, just like us, have come to baguio for two possible reasons: 1.) to find True Love, and 2.) to fix the broken heart. This have caught the attention of everyone and made the framework of her speech. ‘Hugot’ lines were also brought by her mouth to the Francisco Benitez Hall, Senor Mess of the DepEd Teachers Camp, such as; ‘(ang maipapayo ko sa inyo kung kayo ay broken hearted) move on my dear, move on’, ang experience ng broken hearted ay dinadaanan lang yan hindi tinatambayan’. She also shared that when she talks about love, she is a winner, a survivor, and a victor. She added that having a broken heart must not make us weak rather, it must make us stronger (malakas), wiser (matalino), and braver (matapang).
But her talk, as what I have foreshadowed, was not about love nor romance, or forevermore. She comprehensively talked about leadership highlighting accountability. " The failure to personify this virtue would lead to broken hands, broken groups, teams, organizations, people and even the society or worse, the whole nation. When one choose to resume a position, that one should embody accountability which the virtue of trust (tiwala) is indispensable. When we take accountability out from the equation that just proves that there is no forever. Even in love (pag-ibig), when you commit or answer (sagot), you will have many responsibilities (sagutin), or if you will not, then good luck, (lagot ka)."
She ended her speech with a very wonderful personal note. In her words, " The broken hearts are the hearts of the millions of Filipinos which are betrayed, pocketed and plundered. The pain is undoubtedly excruciating not only to the heart but to the soul. Young leaders hold the future. We are the hope of the nation. We must heal the broken hearts. They will be healed when it will believe and trust again. We must lead them in falling in love again. Tulungan natin silang maniwala na may FOREVER parin.
* Choose an object. List down reasons you think that object represents you. From your list of reasons, choose the most powerful, the one which conveys the strongest image of you. Then make a list of things that support this main image and describe how this contribute to the you you are.
The object that would represent me is a stone.
You can find it (me) anywhere.
It is not easy to tear and break
It is taken for granted.
It is of different shapes or formations.
It is of different colors.
It is not easy to tear and break
I chose this reason as the most powerful among all because it really suits my personality. As many have known, I am a brave person. I have never been so afraid to take risk and conquer adversity. In this world, we can see and hear many people who are judgmental. I have encountered so many people like that but they have never won the game of putting me down. Instead, I flew higher more than I anticipated. No matter what people will say against me, it will not change anything about me; I will remain strong and unmoved. They may shoot me with their words, cut me with their eyes, and kill me with their hatefulness;but still, like a stone, I'm indestructible.
* Compose an essay on "If Eyes Were Placed Elsewhere."
Eyes enable us to see the beauty of the world. These help us know the truth and qualify the truths of gossips and hearsays. Our eyes are almost part of everything we do. As humans with no special powers, we can only see things when we are in the actual place in the world. We see different colors, schemes, movements, scenarios, and the like. We all want to see the beautiful things about the world. But, it is inevitable that humans are tempted to do evil things. People, though a deadly sin, choose to watch x-rated films and other pornographic materials. In today's timezone, because of technology, people now are hungry of these evil materials. Sad to say but it is really happening. And if our eyes are placed elsewhere, there will be more than pornography. There will be more killings due to jealousy in all possible instances that human eyes have seen; people will be able to see the truth they don't want to see or even take a glimpse; there will be more robberies in banks all over the world etcetera etcetera. The world will be so chaotic if that happens. But if what happens is the contrary, then we will spend much of our time enjoying the beauty of nature and the rest of the gifts that God has given us.

* Write about a place you go when you want to get away from the pressures of life, family, friends, school, etc.
When we are bombarded with so many problems and pressures of life, we all want to take a great escape to relax and live in peace.
Whenever I am feeling so pressured and I feeling like I can't endure it anymore, I go to my favorite place which is far enough from all hurdles in life. It is a place where I am under a big tree and I can see a river free-flowing. It is a perfect place for me to relax and unwind; a place where I can hear the birds singing and the freshest air embracing and caressing me. It is a place where the sound of the river can ease and wash away my burdens. The sounds that I can only hear is the ballad of Mother nature. Her green grasses are comforting me, the colorful flowers are soothing and rejuvenating. In this place, all I have to do is to enjoy and feel the touch of nature as I close my eyes and take a relaxing sleep.
* In 300 words, create your ideal partnership or marriage.
Every girl ( like me hahahaha ) wants to have a Romeo, a Danielle Padilla, a James Reid in her life forever - a perfect partner in life. As a personal note, for me, there is no such thing as a perfect partner but there is an ideal partner who has the qualities and character that will make a girl choose him as a partner.
Now, what I want is a partnership that is loyal, understanding, and solid. A relationship, whether friendship or in a family, will not prosper and last if there is no loyalty. My partner should be as loyal as possible. I will not deprive him to meet other people or duuhh GIRLS!, but he should not forget that he is already taken by heart. He should not replace me with other gay or girls because one thing I'm sure of myself, I am a loyal lover. I know for sure that there will always be temptations but all we have to do is keep our hearts close to our loved ones so as to avoid them cheating! (madami kayang malalandi diyan). Of course loyalty requires trust. We need to trust people as much as possible. Yes trusting people is a very dangerous game but whatever happens, love will leave us a stronger heart. As long as we know we are loyal and we loved truly, we always win. Then, a relationship that is full of understanding is an equation of a very sweet and tender loving. If there are problems or issues about spending time for each other, take a short break and talk smoothly. Things will never be settled if done in a manner that you will be shouting and throwing things at each other's. And lastly, a relationship that is solid. This is a requirement in every relationship because every day is filled with a lot of surprises - good and bad. If you allow adversities or challenges manipulate your love story, then might as well you need to be always ready for a playlist of breakups and heartaches. But if we want a happier relationship, we must all be ready to all possible instances that our love story will be greatly affected.
* Write about "If I Had One Day Left to Live."
If I had one day left to live, I would pray faithfully to God to give the chance to see my real mother. Even if this sounds so impossible, I still believe that God has the will to all things. I want this to happen on the last day of my life to tell my mother that I'm so thankful that she has given me the chance to live on earth. Ever since I was a child, I have no grudges against her although she has abandoned me. Yes, there were many times I felt so rejected about being abandoned but that doesn't mean that I would hate my mother in return. Through her, I was able to feel and know what is love, joy, happiness, sadness, pain, and sorrow. These helped me a lot to be the person I always want to be. No matter what happens, she is still my mother and that fact will last forever.
* Describe the color and smell of hunger.
Have you ever smelled a deep and romantic scent of red roses? This scent is equivalent to the hunger of sexual eroticism of the youth today. Most youths are now driven by their hunger of the human flesh. They do not equate sex as sacred anymore but rather a normal activity for teens having boyfriends and girlfriends. The color is sultry rose that is so deep filled with throbbing heat of love, a passionate expression of attraction. It drives most people to want more and be hungry for it. Yes there are shades of roses but the shades of innocence are slowly fading and eroticism takes over in controlling the burning desire of people by alluring scent of red roses mixing pure love with lust.
* Write a letter to the 15-year-old teenager you had been.
Dear Boknoy,
Hi! How are you? It's been a year we haven't seen each other. I am writing this letter to let you know that I really miss you. I miss our conversations and crazy doings. I really miss our get-together because being with simply brings me to a simpler life free from problems and stress. You were able to bring me to the world I want to live. I miss all the fun and thrill. I miss your loudest guffaws and funny facial expressions. I wish you never had to leave me but I know that is for your own good. I hope to hear from you once you have read this letter. I hope you are doing fine and you are happy with your new friends in that foreign country.
I just want you to know that whenever you need someone to talk with, I'll always give you preservations. I love you and more power!
Loloy
